Fallout: New Vegas Achievements - Uses Down Filled Plasma Ball

Fallout: New Vegas Achievements - Uses Down Filled Plasma BallDid you know that having a Corsair down filled is going to improve your FPS in Fallout: New Vegas? The main issue is whether you want to use the plasma ball or not.To start, the game does not have an ability called 'Equipment Upgrades'. This means that you will not be able to upgrade certain items. For example, there is a cabinet and it is called the G.E.C.K. It has infinite amounts of food and energy cells, but no ammunition. So, I looked for a way to make more ammunition so I could use the G.E.C.K. However, the plasma ball was already there, so why would I want to use it? The answer is simple. The plasma ball does more damage per second. Because of this, it is essential to get more of the red orbs. There is one location that is specifically mentioned on the save file that there is a hidden area that you can use this. I found a place that had one of each type of orb and some of them were even one thousand! The main issue wit h using the plasma ball is you will not have enough energy to fire at that fast. This means you are going to need to use the down filled. I managed to obtain around eight blue orbs and two reds. This is enough to kill a lot of creatures. Also, since this mission is one of the easiest in the game, there is no real point in using the down filled except for the fact that you will be moving a lot quicker. If you do this mission, you might as well go for all the green orbs because they are three times faster than the blue. After getting your lower power weapons, go back to the room where you got the plasma ball and bring them all down.Take out the super mutant with the electric shocks and don't worry about the seekers. When you have done this, get the other ones to follow you and turn off the machine. You will need to do this three times to the left of the chamber and continue to go up and down. After this mission, take a look at your save file and compare how many green orbs you have. It should be between five and seven. Try using a down filled to get to ten and you will be very happy with the results.
